A Royal Day Out

Virgin experience days What you would do for a day if you were a member of the Royal family?

To celebrate the release of Madonna's new film W.E., which stars Abbie Cornish, Andrea Riseborough and James D'Arcy and hits cinemas on January 20th, Saga are giving one reader the chance to win an afternoon tea for two at Kensington Palace courtesy of Virgin Experience Days.

When King Edward VIII made the decision to give up the throne to be with the woman he loved, Wallis Simpson, the move shocked the nation and divided the monarchy. W.E. tells the story of their love affair, alongside the story of a contemporary woman in New York, who becomes transfixed by the chic, charismatic Wallis (Andrea Riseborough Made In Dagenham), who spoke her mind and captured the heart of the king (James D'Arcy, Cloud Atlas). Directed and co-written by Madonna, W.E. uncovers the truth behind one of the greatest romances of the 20th Century.

To be in with a chance of winning, simply join in our Saga Zone short story competition and share your stories based on what you would do for a day if you were a member of the Royal family. Saga Zone members will then choose the overall winner.
